Lightyears Away

Sometimes I wonder
why a person like me
can be so sad.
And then I wonder
why people hurt each other
and why they hurt me.
People,
once very close
and still they are
deeply connected
in a certain way.
Near me
but unfortunately
lightyears away.

Helix
